With the finance support of 'Gledden Visiting Senior Fellowship', Prof. Chen Xi made an academic visit to Westerb Australian University during August 6 ~ September 21. He gave three lectures during his visit, including "Estimation of Climate Change and its Impacts on the Hydrology of the Karst Region, Southwest China" for the Department of Environment System, "Sustainable Development and Management of Water Resources in China - Problems, Challenges and Countermeasures" for Postgraduate Master classes at the Institute of Advanced Studies, and "Estimation of Hydrological Dynamics and Ecohydrological effects in a Karst Region of Southwest China" for the symposium of Ecohydrology and Ecophysiology of Plants in Water-Limited Environments.
