Ministry of Science and Technology published the evaluation results of state key laboratories on 8, July. The State key laboratory of Hydrology-Water Resources and Hydraulic Engineering which is developed jointly by Hohai University and Nanjing Institute of Hydraulics Research passed successfully and was listed in the group of ‘Good laboratory’. Since the approval of the development of Hydro-Lab by the Ministry of Science and Technology in October, 2004, the lab has become a centre of innovative research in the fields of hydrology and water resource, aquatic ecosystem and hydraulic engineering, problem solution for major hydraulic engineering projects, high-level talents training, and academic exchange.
