Dr. Lu’s research interest focuses on nutrient transport processes, wetland hydrochemistry, nonpoint source pollution, drinking water source area protection, aquatic environmental rehabilitation, aquatic ecological monitoring and restoration, aquatic eutrophication control. He led or took part in over 10 key and major projects funded by NSFC, MOST, MWR in China. He has published over 20 papers, with 6 papers indexed by SCI, EI and ISTP. He has taken part in the manuscript preparation of two books and two national standards. He serves as the member of the society of ecology and the society of water environment.
