Professor Chen Xi take participate by the 11th American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Conference on Karst in Floridain from September 23 to 26 2008. Prof.Chen gived the speech of "Simulation of rainfall-underground outflow responses of a karstic watershed in southwestern China with an artificial neural network". Professor Chen Xi is responsible for the "973 Project" on "dynamic process of water cycle in karst area and its hydro-ecological effect" currently.
