受澳大利亚西澳大学“Gledden Visiting Senior Fellowship”资助,陈喜教授于8月6日-9月21日在西澳大学进行学术访问。在此期间，于8月28日应邀在西澳大学环境系统工程系作学术“报告Estimation of Climate Change and its Impacts on the Hydrology of the Karst Region,Southwest China”，9月11日在 Institute of Advanced Studies作研究生课程专题讲座（Postgraduate Masterclasses）“Sustainable Development and Management of Water Resources in China - Problems, Challenges and Countermeasures”。并于9月15-18参加“Ecohydrology and Ecophysiology of Plants in Water-Limited Environments”国际学术会议，受邀作主题发言“Estimation of Hydrological Dynamics and Ecohydrological effects in a Karst Region of Southwest China”。此外，还参与指导本科生及研究生野外实习，参观西澳大学环境系统工程系野外实验基地等工作。
