Jin Guangqiu

Dr. Jin’s research interests cover areas of mass transport in hyporheic zone, ocean-land interactions, coastal processes and eco-environmental system modeling. He demonstrated that the advective and dispersive transport components are essential for quantification of hyporheic exchange processes. He found the cause of persistent pollution behavior long after the pollution accident within a river system. His work also revealed that low-density variation induces considerable hyporheic exchange in the presence of bedforms in rivers. He has been invited by The University of Queensland, Australia as a visiting scholar for one year. He held or took part in 8 projects at home and abroad. He has published 13 papers, including 3 and 5 papers indexed by SCI and EI, respectively. He is a reviewer of Advances in Water Resources and Journal of Hydrology.
