 Major research interests focus on the fields of flood control and water information systems, the utilization of flood resources, and interdisplinary research of water sciences and geo-sciences. Led or took part in over 20 key and main projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation projects, or provincial and ministerial governments in China. He has published 5 books and maor than 20 papers. He won one Grade-II National Prizes for the Progress in Science and Technology, one Grade-I and one Grade- II ministry prizes for progress in science and technology. He was selected as young and middle-aged leader of science and technology by the Jiangsu Province 333 High Level Talents Program. He serves as a member of China water conservancy projects information to the professional committee and remote sensing of the professional committee, an editor of Water Scientific Advances and Hydro-Science and Engineering. |
